An exciting opportunity has arisen at Linaker Primary School to join our dedicated team of teachers. The governors are seeking to appoint an experienced motivated, enthusiastic, and driven Teacher with a passion for inclusive education.

What the school offers its staff

Linaker is a flourishing school and an exciting place to grow as a pupil, teacher or as a leader. This is underpinned by our 6 core values, which are supported throughout the curriculum - Respect, Resilience, Creativity, Curiosity, Trust and Compassion. We recognise these as the basis of our relationships with each other, with the local community and with the world around us, and they support our school mission statement of ‘Together we flourish and grow.’

It is our belief that when our children leave to take the next steps in their lives that they take with them a love of learning, a curiosity about the world, the ability to care about others and a confidence that they can reach their future aspirations.

We have a caring ethos towards the well-being of our pupils and all of those who are involved with the school. We are at the heart of the community, and encourage a sense of belonging for all pupils, staff, families and governors, as we work together with one aim, to make our school the best it can be.

The governing body is proactive and supportive. It consists of a dedicated group of people who have a range of skills and experiences. It strives to be as effective as it can in its role of monitoring the progress of the school, to continuously raise the standards for all pupils and the quality of the education.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please email recruitment@linaker.org.uk to request a visit. All applicants are required to complete the application form and provide a supporting statement which clearly evidences the essential criteria from the job specification statements.
