We are seeking an exceptional maths teacher, who can take ownership of the maths curriculum at Impact and continue to build on the improved results that students have achieved over the last few years. Supporting learning of a wide range of young people in KS3 and KS4 who are out of the traditional mainstream school setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is resilient, innovative and can engage students to find a passion for maths. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality, stimulating lessons that ensure pupil progression. This person will be fully supported with the development of the maths curriculum and there are continuous opportunities for CPD.

At Impact we offer new opportunities to learners who may have experienced previous difficulties by responding to learners in ways which take account of their varied life experiences and needs.

Many of the students at Impact have a range of diverse special needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD and/or learning needs such as Speech Language and Communication Needs, Dyslexia, etc. Some students have an Education Health and Care Plan. Other students will have places commissioned by their mainstream school on a pre-exclusion basis and some are permanently excluded. The successful candidate will be accountable for the attainment and progress of all students for this subject.

Ideally looking for candidates who are available to start in September 2024, however a January 2025 start date is also acceptable.
