KS2 Teaching Assistants (Level 2) are required for September 2024

The Governors of this popular and successful school are seeking to appoint two inspiring teaching assistants to join us at St George’s to work in our KS2 classrooms.

We are looking for people who can be enthusiastic classroom assistants, able to support the continued achievement and progress for our children.  You will have some understanding, and maybe experience, of working in a primary school setting.  You’ll also have a sense of humour and that ability to foster positive relationships with our children, parents and our staff.

These are temporary post, in the first instance, with the prospect of permanency after the first year.  The successful candidates will be able to think and act independently, work from teachers plans, differentiate and support children throughout the day.  

Hours are from 9.00am to 3.30pm daily with a 30-minute lunch break.  30 minutes of the day will be monitoring children within the key stage over lunch time.
